Needs some playability improvements, a little more detailed tutorial. For nostalgics, would also be nice to have another Karateka looking exactly as the genuine one (with the improved graphics of course)

At the end, the last fight, the game crashes, Im disapointed and feeling aggrieved.

I couldnt be happier then to get a little nostalgia feeling plying this classic game from the Apple II.

The game is very lag. I wish I can do more than just tapping.

This is an absolutely wonderful game from design to gameplay to sound. It stands on its own, and as I was a fan of the original, is a terrific tribute.

I used to play this on the Commodore 64. This is more fun!

Wow I had been thinking no less than 3 days ago how I should fire up Karateka on the Apple ][ and write a port of it I could play on my iPad. Then yesterday I read that it had been done and no less by Jordan Mechner (apologize for misspelling if I have) and it is way cool. Totally revamped and yet has the same "feel" as the original. What a great Christmas gift this was!

I had to restart my ipad at one point, and I am stuck in a. Infinite loop right now, but simple and short is what I was looking for Nd this game delivered. Its fun.

I just love this game. It brings me back so long ago! But it still needs improvement on bug correction. I went through the game with The Brute, beat The Boss and the game crashed just after the fight!!! Really frustrating! If bugs are corrected I will revise my score but I give 4* until then…

Great modernization of a classic!

Very fun but way to short! I finished the game after 25 minutes. Maybe the challenging part of the game is to play over and over the beat your score....but seriously, I wont. Its a little expensive for such a short and unchallenging game but its very fun to be able to play it again after so many years!!!!

Great remake of a classic game. Simple but compelling gameplay.

I enjoyed this remake if a classic game that I used to play when I was a kid. Only downside is it keeps crashing on my iPhone 4!!!! Very frustrating!!!

Says its compatible in game description but its not. Crashes so much I cant even get into gameplay

But can you please make it run smoother on the iphone 4s...

Took an hour to download on iPad. Fails to open on most attempts. No gameplay!
